Born to famed grizzly bear Blondie in 2017, these two subadult siblings stuck together for almost two summers after their mom pushed them out on their own. As evidenced by the porcupine quills in the male’s face, they were still figuring some things out for themselves. Not long after this was taken, the male set out to find a territory of his own that wouldn’t overlap with that of his mother or sister. The female, now known as Bonita, can be seen in the same sagebrush meadows her mom uses.
