An iconic scene in Grand Teton National Park, Oxbow Bend shines brightest in autumn. As aspens and cottonwoods near their peak fall color, their leaves rustling in the September breeze, flocks of migrating geese prepare to land on the Snake River, their calls adding to the cacophony of other birds already there. Towering in the distance is Mount Moran, the giant of the northern Teton Range at 12,605 feet, and one of the most striking forms to be found anywhere.
