On a frigid January day, a wolf makes its way through Grand Teton National Park, his yellow eyes contrasting with his black fur. Thought to be from the Wapiti Lake Pack in Yellowstone, which dens some 70 miles to the north, this young wolf likely struck out on his own in search of a mate and territory to call his own.
