In a rarely seen view of the annual salmon spawn, a river full of sockeye go about their business of churning up the stream bed so the females can lay their eggs in a clean gravel bowl devoid of silt and sediment that would otherwise suffocate their eggs in Funnel Creek on the Alaska Peninsula.
